What could be nicer than growing together? Ghana – Germany. Living conditions could hardly be more different. Means of transport, living conditions, food, leisure activities, vegetation, togetherness and of course the school systems. Everywhere there are differences that add value.

So we asked ourselves the question, why not combine the most beneficial, most interesting and most beautiful benefits of both societies and give children a chance to lead a fulfilled, self-determined and happy life?
Our mission is to empower children to step into the creator mode and live their lives happily and thus be a role model for other people to keep sharing and thus increasing happiness.

How do you enable the smallest of society to have this option of a self-determined and happy life? The basis is a protected and sheltered home where they feel safe, loved and secure. We created this framework. With our Dzata Suku (ewe: lion school) we have created a space in which several children have already found this home!

In addition, education, learning, and growth are the decisive elements in gaining the power to actively shape your own life. The educational paths in Ghana and Germany do not only show positive aspects. So what could be more obvious than creating your own educational concept from which you combine the best factors? And who could do that better than young people who are either in the middle of their own school education or have had their first professional experience and know exactly what is/was most beneficial in their school lessons.

Thus, the founding of the youth exchange program: “Lions Team Up!” was sensible consequence- a cultural exchange at eye level! The concrete task of the participants from both continents is to create an innovative educational concept together, which we will implement in our German-Ghanasian boarding school. In addition, we want to encourage our German participants to get involved in long-term development projects beyond the exchange and to carry out local social projects with our Ghanaian participants, as well as to raise awareness in Germany of global problems and to accomplish the consequences of our (consumption) decisions and actions.
